Do a quick Google search and read other customer complaints. All are very similar.
I truly believe we were denied a renewal because of the claim I filed when a deer ran in front of me on M72.
And in March we received a notice that State Farm decided to not renew our policy, and it was due to my husband's driving record.
I hit a deer shortly after in Nov 2016, and had to file a claim.
To get my windshield repaired in a timely manner to be able to see to drive it until it could reach the body shop. I filed a separate claim, as I had a zero deductible for comprehensive.
I made this agency aware of my husband's driving record before we became customers in Oct 2016.
35yrs old.. And only two instances on his record. He's a pretty dang good driver and drives CDL for the company he works for.
Shortly after that my monthly premium rose almost $200!!!
My husband has two instances on his record from May 2015... Relatively minor offenses.
Finding a different insurance company, and paying the down payment was not easy on us. As my husband has been laid off the past 4 months. It's caused me a lot stress and anxiety. I am 18wks pregnant on top of all this.
I definitely do NOT recommend this agency or any other State Farm agency.
These two claims, the reason why people pay for insurance, cost us our coverage.
