Why is there not a visual time counter?
I pull in to a self service wash to do my engine compartment, I had previously bought some engine degreaser and after waiting 20 minutes for the engine to cool off I applied the degreaser and proceed to wait another 15 minutes to let the degreaser work but as I was waiting the owner came up and said he had been watching me on his camera "CREEPY" and accused me of dumping oil in the drains and then dump trash AKA the empty 12oz can of degreaser. Proceed to tell me that I hadn't even spent any money yet I explained why I hadn't sprayed anything yet because I was waiting for the degreaser to work a then pointed to the stack of quarters I had ready to go on the machine. At this point I asked him what his problem was and he replied " This is my F#*@ing car wash and I can tell people to do whatever I want". This is when I left, since then I have conversed with other locals and it seems that I am not the only one who has a crazy story to tell. So unless you're looking for a creepy middle aged man to cuss you out I would advise trying another wash station.
